Measuring principle

Antibody-coated plate Antibody-coated plate
Primary reaction Primary reaction: Allergens bind to antibodies solidified on the plate.
Secondary reaction Secondary reaction: The enzyme-labeled antibody binds to the allergens bound to the antibody on the plate in a sandwich-like fashion.
Enzymatic reaction Enzymatic reaction: When an enzyme substrate is added, color is produced by enzymatic decomposition. The degree of this coloration is measured.
Monoclonal antibodies, allergens, enzyme-labeled monoclonal antibodies, enzyme-substrate reactants

Testing Method

Weigh out 1 g of food sample Sample Extraction Operation

Add 19 mL of extraction reagent and extract by shaking
(at least 12 hours at room temperature)

Primary reaction (addition of standard solution and measurement solution) (1 hour at room temperature) Measurement with ELISA

Secondary reaction (addition of enzyme-labeled antibody)
(30 minutes at room temperature)

Handling Precautions

Handling Precautions

This kit is a research reagent for detecting specific raw materials in food, and is not a clinical reagent for diagnosing the presence or absence of food allergies. The correlation between the amount of allergen intake and allergic symptoms is unknown.
