Great Taste and Excitement, Today and Tomorrow:
Cherishing Our Heritage and Always Innovating
In 1931, our company's founder, Masanori Takegishi, launched a business called Takegishi Meat Packers. He did so for the purpose of producing high-quality meat and to contribute to the country's livestock industry. In 1965, the company became Prima Meat Packers, Ltd. Takegishi believed that products and quality are the company's lifeblood, and this became part of Prima Meat Packers corporate philosophy ("create quality products that sustain the Prima Group"). Guided by this philosophy, our organization has traced a path of expansion in the meat products sector with an unceasing commitment to technological innovation and to new forms of production.
Today, the food services industry faces immense volatilities, including high prices for raw materials and diversifying consumer needs. Amid this challenging landscape, we will keep providing safe, reliable, and tasty products and make our long-loved brands even better. In this way, we will help our customers develop healthy and well-rounded dietary habits, thereby achieving sustained corporate growth and ensuring our longevity.
As we approach our centenary and look toward our growth path beyond then, we will hone our company's strengths and keep taking on growth challenges to expand our business portfolio and advance to our next stage, which is to be a top player in the food services industry.
All corporate officers and employees across Prima Meat Packers Group are united in a commitment to contribute to food culture and society through great taste and excitement and to be a company that customers always love and support.
I thank you for your interest in our company and invite you to learn more on this website.
