Participation in tree-planting activities sponsored by the Honjo Suigen no Mori Ikuseikai (Akita Prima Foods Co., Ltd.)

On Saturday, November 3, 2018, 27 people from Akita Prima Foods Co., Ltd. (Yurihonjo-shi, Akita Pref.), a member of Prima Meat Packers Group, participated in a tree-planting activity (work to remove dead branches) sponsored by the Honjo Suigen no Mori Ikuseikai.

In the Honjo Suigen no Mori (Nishi-Yurihara, Yurihonjo-shi), tree-planting activities have been conducted since 1998.
To date, 200,000 zelkova, beech, and other broadleaf trees have been planted.

This time, we removed dead branches from trees planted in the past and cleaned up the surrounding area.

Chinese interns who joined the workplace within this year also participated.

We will continue to support this project.
