Participation in the "Love Earth Clean Up in Hokkaido 2018" Cleanup Activity (Hokkaido Plant)

Prima Meat Packers Hokkaido Plant (Shimizu-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido) participated in the "Love Earth Cleanup in Hokkaido 2018" cleanup activities throughout Hokkaido sponsored by the Hokkaido Environmental Community Network, an NPO.

The "Love Earth Clean Up in Hokkaido" is a movement that encourages the picking up of litter, in which all Hokkaido residents take the initiative, to nurture a "Heart of Caring for the Local Environment" through everyone picking up trash and aiming to leave a better environment in Hokkaido for the next generation.
When working on the same activities with the same thought and spirit, the sense of solidarity among the people of Hokkaido can be further enhanced, which will lead to the revitalization of Hokkaido.
This activity also aims to realize collaboration among citizens, public administrations, and businesses.

The Hokkaido Plant has continued to participate in the "Love Earth Clean Up in Hokkaido" since 2010.
In 2018, about 20 employees participated in picking up litter around the plant once a month from May to October.
Also, a Certificate of Participation was received from the Hokkaido Environmental Community Network.

We will continue to participate in the event and promote local environmental activities.
