Plant Tour for Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (Hokkaido Plant)

On October 22 (Mon.), 2018, a total of 39 students and teachers from the Laboratory of Animal Production Science in the Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine visited Prima Meat Packers Hokkaido Plant (Shimizu-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido) and toured the plant.

They came to study the production process of processed meat as part of the Livestock Production Science Training IV class.
They were very active in the tour, going through each process carefully and actively asking questions.

The company has received many comments that the strict hygiene management and the cheerful greetings from the employees were impressive.
One student said that he felt the high awareness of "safety" in the management philosophy, "Products and quality are everything to Prima."

It is hoped that the students could accumulate as much as they could from this plant tour and that they can make the most of it in the future.
