Acceptance of Interns from a Special Needs High School

The Ibaraki Office of Prima Kankyo Service Co., Ltd. accepted students from the Ibaraki Prefectural Mito Special Needs High School for internship. The school is the only special needs school in Ibaraki Prefecture with a single upper secondary school (high school). Through focusing on vocational education, the school aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for social and vocational independence and to prepare them for employment after graduation.
From November 11 to 21, the company provided hands-on training at the sheep casings piping line. In the internship work diary, which is exchanged between the student, the manager of the training process, and the guardian, some comments like the student gradually got used to the work, became interested in the work, and at the end of the diary, the points that showed progress, such as "to work with both accuracy and speed" were recorded. This is the second time the company has accepted students for internships since last year, and the company plans to continue accepting students in the future to support their challenging spirit.
