Honored with the Award for Contribution of Blood Donations from the Japanese Red Cross Society (Hokkaido Plant)

Prima Meat Packers Hokkaido Plant (Shimizu-cho, Kamikawa-gun, Hokkaido) was honored with the Japanese Red Cross Society Branch Head's Certificate of Gratitude and the Award for Contributions at the 46th National Convention for the Promotion of the Blood Donation Campaign held in Shimane Prefecture in July 2010.

* Award ceremony at Shimizu Town Office

On November 24 (Wed.), the award ceremony was held at the reception room for the Town Mayor and the Certificate of Gratitude was given to the Head of the Plant Imai by Shimizu Town Mayor Takasusuki, who is also the Chairperson of the Shimizu Town Blood Donation Promotion Association.

The Hokkaido Plant has been conducting a continuous blood donation campaign for 30 years.

* Scene of blood donations

Part of the Hokkaido Plant is made available for blood donations twice a year (in May and November), and not only for employees, but also for local residents to donate blood.
