Arrangements for Requesting the Purchase or Sale of Fractional Shares

The company's share trading unit is 100 shares. Fractional shares (1 to 99 shares) have some limitations such as they cannot be traded on securities markets and voting rights cannot be exercised at Annual General Meetings. We would like to inform you that we have adopted the "Requesting the Purchase of Fractional Shares Arrangement" and the "Requesting the Sale of Fractional Shares Arrangement."

  • Regarding procedures for requesting the purchase or sale of fractional shares, please contact the securities company, etc. with which you have a transaction account if the fractional shares are recorded in your account at a securities company, etc., or contact the account management institution for the special account described below if the fractional shares are recorded in your special account.

  • Please note that we will suspend the acceptance of purchase and sale requests during certain periods prior to the vesting of rights on record dates such as the interim and fiscal year-end, and when a suspension period is set.
  • When using the arrangements for requesting the purchase or sale of fractional shares, you will be required to pay the prescribed fees.
  • If procedures are carried out at an account management institution (securities company, etc.) other than that of your special account, an intermediary fee may be charged.
