FSSC 22000?
FSSC 22000 is a more specific clarification of the ISO 22000 standard, which was abstracted for application to the entire food industry, and it details what needs to be done in terms of building construction, utilities, materials management, general hygiene for personnel, and food security. FSSC 22000 has been approved as a certified standard by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), a non-profit foundation with international influence on food distribution.
